Rat Creek Construction is a heavy equipment contractor based out of Edson, Alberta.

Specializing in residential and civil construction projects, Rat Creek is a start to finish contractor providing every heavy equipment service from land clearing to landscaping.

The company was first incorporated by Sidney Delano in the 1960s with a small fleet of Caterpillar dozers. Sid offered construction services to the oilfield and forestry industries as well as many private customers, clearing land, building roads, moving dirt, and making a clean honest living with strong ties and deep roots to his community. Not much has changed in that regard, but the services offered by Rat Creek today are much more vast.

Some of our specialties include septic system design and installation, landscape material sales, and utility trenching. Our service range is through out west central Alberta including Edson, Hinton, Whitecourt, Drayton Valley, Spruce Grove, and all areas in between!
